Gülşah Karakaya
Gülşah Karakaya is an assistant professor at the Department of Business Administration. She received her BS, MS, and PhD degrees from METU’s Department of Industrial Engineering. She worked as a research/teaching assistant between 2007 and 2013 in the same department. She prepared her dissertation under the supervision of Dr. Murat Köksalan. Before joining METU BA, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, and collaborated with Dr. Selin Damla Ahipaşaoğlu and Dr. Stefano Galelli. Her research interests include quantitative decision methods, multiple criteria decision-making, evolutionary algorithms, combinatorial auctions, and feature selection. She is a member of INFORMS, International Society on MCDM, and Operational Research Society of Turkey. She is the 2017 recipient of "METU Young Researcher Award" given by the METU Development Foundation.
