Dr. Yavuz GÜL completed his undergraduate education at the Department of Business Administration in Gazi University. He earned both his master's degree and PhD from the Department of Finance in Anadolu University. He examined the performance of equity mutual funds using the Morningstar methodology. His doctoral research focused on predicting the financial failures of firms via logistic regression, artificial neural networks, and decision trees. His research interests include financial markets, portfolio management, sustainable finance, and financial performance analysis, and he has published over 20 academic papers on these topics. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Accounting and Finance at Sakarya University.
