İlkay Şendeniz Yüncü
İlkay Şendeniz Yüncü is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Department of Business Administration. Prior to joining METU, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Finance at IÉSEG School of Management and MEF University, and as a lecturer at Tilburg University and Bilkent University. Dr. Şendeniz Yüncü conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley and Tilburg University. She received her BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Civil Engineering at METU. She holds an MBA from METU and a PhD in Finance from Bilkent University. Her research focuses on banking, financial markets, financial economics, and the finance-growth nexus. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Finance Research Letters, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, Applied Economics, and in edited volumes published by World Scientific Publishing, Palgrave Macmillan, and Springer. She teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has been the thesis supervisor for several PhD and Masters students.
