Selin Taftaf
Selin Taftaf obtained her BA degree from Bilkent University’s Department of International Relations in 2015. Following her graduation, she worked as a Tax Audit Assistant at the Ernst & Young company for 9 months. She completed her MBA degree at METU. Her research primarily focuses on gender equality, leadership and women empowerment at the organizational context. Her master’s thesis, which completed under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. F. Pınar Acar, focused on abusive supervision, which is a relatively new topic in the leadership literature, and deferential perceptions of this specific destructive leadership behavior with respect to gender. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD degree in Sociology. Her areas of interest are work and organization, organizational behavior and human resources management.
