Dr. Oran received his BSc degree in Economics from METU (1992) and his MSc (1997) and PhD (1999) in Finance from Texas Tech University. He has been a faculty member at the Department of Business Administration since 1999 where he teaches a wide array of courses including required and elective courses in finance, financial accounting, entreprepreneurship, investment valuation, and fundamentals of business. Dr. Oran has been the director of METU’s GIMER Entrepreneurship Center since 2012. He spends a significant portion of his time contributing to the entrepreneurship ecosystem at METU, Ankara and Turkey!
