İlkay Şendeniz Yüncü
İlkay Şendeniz Yüncü is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Department of Business Administration. She received her PhD (2007) in Finance from Bilkent University, MBA (1998) from METU, MSc (1999) and BSc (1995) in Civil Engineering from METU. She conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley (USA) and Tilburg University (the Netherlands). Dr. Şendeniz Yüncü previously held positions of Instructor at Bilkent University, Lecturer at Tilburg University, Assistant Professor of Finance at MEF University and Assistant Professor of Finance at IÉSEG School of Management (France). Her research is in the areas of banking, finance-growth relationship, and financial markets. She has published in the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Applied Economics, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade, Finance Research Letters, and in an edited volume published by World Scientific Publishing. She teaches in the areas of banking, finance and financial macroeconomics both at undergraduate and graduate levels.
